Questo oratorio in stile barocco che si affaccia su una graziosa piazzetta venne costruito nel 1711 per dotare l’omonima confraternita di una propria sede. Nel 1728, a edificio ultimato, Bianchinetta Gramegna lasciò con suo testamento L.100 per la costruzione del campanile. Attualmente la struttura si presenta a pianta rettangolare, a navata unica con abside esagonale, con volte a botte e copertura a due spioventi in ardesia. La facciata risale al 1791. L’interno presenta una complessa decorazione a stucco ascrivibile alla bottega di Vincenzo Adami, mentre l’affresco è di Maurizio Carrega. La statua della Madonna della Misericordia fu completata nel 1911.

Oratory of Our Lady of Mercy
The oratory dedicated to Our Lady of Mercy in baroque style, overlooks a lovely little square and was built in 1711 to provide the homonym brotherhood (confraternita) with their own headquarters. In 1728 a lady from the village known as Bianchinetta Gramegna left L.100 from her will for the construction of the bell tower. Currently the structure has a rectangular plan, a single nave with a hexagonal apse, with barrel vaults and a gabled slate roof. The façade dates back to 1791. The interior has complex stucco decorations attributable to the workshop of Vincenzo Adami, while the fresco is by Maurizio Carrega. The statue of Our Lady of Mercy was completed in 1911.
